Haylee Fisher is the newest face in pop, and proof that dreams can come true.

The 24-year-old is poised to set the charts alight with the upcoming release of her debut album - a collection of beautifully crafted songs, delivered with lush vocals and rich melodies.

The classically-trained pianist has handpicked a selection of the world’s most successful songwriters to share her journey. They include the famed American hit-maker Diane Warren, American Idol’s latest addition to the judges’ panel, Kara Dioguardi (who has written hits for acts including Pink, Kelly Clarkson) and Australian singer-songwriter, Delta Goodrem.

Growing up in south Auckland’s Papatoetoe, Haylee was always the child who made her way to the front of the class or school assembly to take the lead on whatever repertoire was on offer. She progressed to musical productions, talent quests and competitions at high school where she studied music and worked on perfecting her craft.

Not even contemplating that her passion for singing and performing could one day become a career, Haylee enrolled at university embarking on a Bachelor of Arts. But she realised it wasn’t for her and took a leap of faith and quit.

Her path soon led her to meeting, and forming a strong friendship with another like-minded singer, Sarah McBride - who at the time, happened to be recording with the famed producer, Simon Holloway.

It wasn’t long before Haylee too was recording under the guidance of the award-winning New Zealand producer.

Now, the talented girl from south Auckland, who spent her youth singing along to her musical mentors, is about to take the biggest step of her journey.

Armed with an original collection of pop gems, Haylee is ready to soar the airwaves with first single, "High" – a catchy and vibrant track capturing the true essence and feeling of being high on love.
